The Health Protection Agency launches elearning module on risk assessment for potential rabies exposures

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has developed an online training module to provide health professionals with the knowledge and tools necessary to undertake risk assessment of potential rabies exposures, and how to request post-exposure prophylaxis if needed. 

The module is CPD accredited and is available through eHealth, an online education and training tool for healthcare professional in the NHS and the HPA.  eHealth consists of a series of online interactive, scenario based training modules and can be accessed by logging onto http://ehealthlearning.org.uk/arena/index.cfm
