Travel Security

The current concern about threats to aviation security emphasises the important issue of travel safety and security on all modes of transport.

Travellers should:

• Be aware of personal safety during their trip.  
• Review the following websites prior to commencing travel:
• The Foreign & Commonwealth Office: www.fco.gov.uk/en
• The Home Office: www.homeoffice.gov.uk/
• Check with their transport carrier prior to departure for any travel safety alerts
• Obtain travel insurance
